Cosmetology Educator

Miss Rachel has been a licensed Cosmetologist working in the field for 21 years. She acquired her Cosmetology Educator license and have been teaching Cosmetology and Esthetics in accredited schools since 2017. She has taken advantage of all that Cosmetology has to offer by spending years training in Hair, Skin and Nails. Most of her career behind the chair was spent in Chicago, Il working first under various Master Stylists and then graduating to working on her own in Salon and Spas stretching from the South Loop to Wicker Park. She is an avid learner and enjoys helping others grow in the field of Cosmetology.

She ha been working in the field of skin and spa wellness for 9 years as an Esthetician and have worked as an Educator for the last 6 years. She has a deep love and passion for this industry and enjoys sharing her knowledge and introducing he students to this ever growing and magnificent industry. She looks forward to meeting you soon!

Barber Educator

Mr. Kwame has been cutting hair for 18 years. From designing and building his brand of barbering for clients every day, this is his everything. He’s constantly pushing himsel to be the best he can be, and it’s all for the joy of creating something amazing. As an instructor he feel memories fade with time and lessons are sometimes forgotten, but experiences shape a human being and leave a lasting mark. At Summit Salon Academy he has the privilege of guiding your early experiences and discoveries at barbering to make you ready to step in this field and that will leave a last mark on this industry.
